According to the Hollywood Reporter, Netflix shelled out over $50 million to Paramount for the streaming rights of The Cloverfield Paradox.
Originally reported by Deadline's Anthony D'Alessandro, the third installment in the Cloverfield franchise, The Cloverfield Paradox, will be available on Netflix after completion of the Super Bowl.
Rumors for weeks circulated that Netflix was in talks with Paramount to acquire the film for it's streaming service. An ad for the movie appeared during a commercial break with the Super Bowl and a tweet from the film's twitter account confirms the release window.
